2020.11.29 01:59 georgiejohn [WANTED] Jonas Brothers "Happiness Begins" WEBSTORE EXCLUSIVE

Hi there! Hope everyone is doing well. I'm going to keep this short and simple: basically, Christmas is coming up and one of my closest friends is a HUGE Jonas Brothers fan. I know she's wanted the full Nick/Joe/Kevin (Pink/Green/Blue) collection of vinyl that was exclusive to the Jonas Brothers' website back when the album released, and basically I just wanted to see if there was anyone looking to part ways with the full trio, or, if not all three, then the Nick/Pink edition.
Please let me know, I'd love to talk about buying! Thanks so much!

2020.11.29 01:28 arithedoc NBA All-Division Teams (Combining all the teams in each division into one divisional team)

No one in the entire world cares about NBA divisions anymore, but if you put together the best players from every team in every division to make a 6 team league (shoutout Bill Russell's 11 rings), who would be the best team? If every team had a 15 player roster, who would the worst player in the league be?
How I ranked them: Let me know how you would rank them / what players got snubbed.

#1 : The Pacific Wave (Lakers + Clippers + Warriors + Suns + Kings)
Starting Lineup: Stephen Curry, Paul George, Kawhi Leonard, LeBron James, Anthony Davis
Key Bench: Chris Paul, Devin Booker, Kelly Oubre Jr., Serge Ibaka, De'Andre Ayton
Depth: De'Aaron Fox, Andrew Wiggins, KCP, Draymond Green, One of the Morris twins

#2: The Atlantic Assassins (Raptors, Celtics, 76ers, Nets, Knicks)
Starting Lineup: Ben Simmons, Jaylen Brown, Jayson Tatum, Kevin Durant, Joel Embiid
Key Bench- Kyrie Irving, Pascal Siakam, OG Anunouby, Tobias Harris, Mitchell Robinson
Depth - Caris Levert, 2 of Kemba / FVV / Lowry, Choose 2 of Joe Harris / Seth Curry / Marcus Smart

#3: The Southwest Spirit (Mavericks, Rockets, Pelicans, Spurs, Grizzlies)
Starting Lineup: Luka Doncic, James Harden, Brandon Ingram, LeMarcus Aldridge, Kristaps Porzingis
Bench: Russell Westbrook, Demar DeRozan, Josh Richardson, Zion Williamson, Jaren Jackson Jr.
Depth: Ja Morant, PJ Tucker, JJ Redick, Christian Wood, Jonas Valenciunas

#4 : The Northwest Pioneers (Blazers, Jazz, Timberwolves, Nuggets, Thunder)
Starting Lineup: Damian Lillard, Donovan Mitchell, Rob Covington (???), Karl Anthony Towns, Nikola Jokic
Key Bench: Jamal Murray, CJ McCollum, Shai Gilgeous Alexander, Bojan Bogdonavic, Rudy Gobert
Depth: Ricky Rubio, D'Angelo Russell, MPJ, Al Horford, Jusuf Nurkic
Note: A strange plethora of elite / good guards (Lillard / Mitchell / Murray / McCollum / D'Lo), a plethora of the best big men in the league (KAT, Jokic, Gobert), and absolutely no above average small forwards. Maybe you commit to small ball and run a Lillard - Mitchell - McCollum/Murray starting back 3, but they'd get embarrassed defensively. Have to go with utility and throw Ro Co into the starting lineup I think - the alternative is MPJ which is arguably worse than starting McCollum defensively

#5: The Southeast Stars (Hawks, Magic, Heat, Wizards, Hornets)
Starting Lineup: Trae Young, Bradley Beal, Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo, Nikola Vucevic
Key Bench: John Wall, Gordon Hayward, John Collins, Duncan Robinson, Clint Capela
Depth: Davis Bertans, Goran Dragic, Tyler Herro, 2 of 3 in Devonte Graham / Bogdan Bogdanovic/ Aaron Gordon

#6: The Central Knights (Bucks, Pacers, Bulls, Pistons, Cavaliers)
#5: Starting Lineup: Jrue Holiday, Victor Oladipo, Khris Middleton, Giannis Antetekoumpo, Brook Lopez
Key Bench: Zach Lavine, Blake Griffin, Jerami Grant, Domantas Sabonis, Malcolm Brogdon
Depth: Collin Sexton, TJ Warren, Kevin Love, Otto Porter Jr., Lauri Markannen or Myles Turner

I think the top-line talent of the Pacific Wave, as well as the amazing depth at the guard position to cover for if and when Paul George chokes in CP3 / Booker, makes them the clear perennial title favorites. Atlantic Assassins are a nightmare defensively though and can match up with anyone on both sides of the ball. Spirit backcourt of Luka / Harden would be the best offensive backcourt in the league, I just am not sure if they have the defense to really compete with the top 2 teams. Southwest teams have the weirdest similarities in having great guards + great big men and absolutely pedestrian wings. I think the overall caliber of team on paper is worse for the Southeast and Central than any of the top 4, but you could make the argument both teams are really just the elevated Bucks (add Oladpio + Lavine), and the super elevated Heat (add Beal + Young + Vucevic), so they'd still obviously be good.

2020.11.28 17:41 ClayDatsusara Miguel Oliveira: Is he good enough?

As Miguel Oliveira dominates the last race of the season, some doubts dissipate in the minds of his most devout fans. The answer to the question "Can he do it in MotoGP?" is finally here and it is a Yes. It is a shy Yes and not a robust one because it was only one race and his home race at a track where he had more experience than all the others. Besides, he was in no position to threaten anynone at the standings, so it's easy to assume that Morbidelli and the other just let him go. It was the last race and not much was at stake for him.
But the question above, "can he do it in MotoGP?", refers to the title fighting seasons he had in the lower classes. Although he never reached the first place in the final standings, he had impressive comebacks in each of his final seasons at Moto3 and Moto2, dominating the final rounds of the calendar, as he had done also in his sophomore year at Moto2, 2017, when he won the last 3 events.
To the casual follower, Miguel Oliveira is a slow learner with some potential, but he only delivers when it's already too late to grasp for the 1st place in the standings. But what if he had one more season in each of those classes where he narrowly lost the titles to Danny Kent and Bagnaia? The past can't be changed now and, to be fair, Oliveira was ready to make the jump and his progression shows it. In MotoGP he will not be hindered by class jumps any more and will be finally able to show what his roof is in the end.
What is unarguably true is that Miguel Oliveira is an elite rider and no more than a dozen riders he faced over the years can claim to have a positive record over him in terms of final position in the standings. Out of these, Rins, Viñales and Morbidelli are his black beasts, beating him fair and square in multiple seasons they were in the same class, as did Luis Salom, which is a testament to the ability of the late spanish rider. The next table shows the riders who have an historical advantage over Oliveira. Most of them will probably never meet him again on track.
Rider MO88 best MO88 lost Net Balance
Alex Rins 0 6 -6
Maverick Viñales 0 5 -5
Franco Morbidelli 0 4 -4
Luis Salom 0 4 -4
Jonas Folger 1 3 -2
Sandro Cortese 1 3 -2
Andrea Dovizioso 0 2 -2
Pol Espargaró 0 2 -2
Thomas Lüthi 0 2 -2
Danny Kent 3 4 -1
Andrea Iannone 0 1 -1
Nicolas Terol 0 1 -1
Sergio Gadea 0 1 -1
In the opposite end of the spectrum, there are some riders that Oliveira absolutely dominated over the years they progressed with him in the class ladder. Curiously, two of them are his former and next team mates.
Rider MO88 best MO88 lost Net Balance
Brad Binder 8 0 8
Alessandro Tonucci 6 0 6
Jorge Navarro 6 0 6
Isaac Viñales 6 0 6
Andrea Locatelli 6 0 6

John McPhee 5 0 5
Juan Francisco Guevara 5 0 5
Kevin Hanus 5 0 5
Niklas Ajo 5 0 5
Remy Gardner 5 0 5
As for the riders who shared the grid the most seasons with Oliveira, only two, Kent and Rins, have a positive advantage over the Portuguese:
Rider MO88 best MO88 lost Net Balance Total Seasons
Brad Binder 8 0 8 8
Isaac Viñales 6 0 6 7
Francesco Bagnaia 5 2 3 7
Alex Márquez 4 3 1 7
Danny Kent 3 4 -1 7
Alessandro Tonucci 6 0 6 6
Jorge Navarro 6 0 6 6
Jakub Kornfeil 5 1 4 6
Zulfahmi Khairuddin 5 1 4 6
Efrén Vázquez 4 2 2 6
Jack Miller 3 3 0 6
Alex Rins 0 6 -6 6
Finally a table with Oliveira's record against all of his 2021 adversaries:
Rider MO88 best MO88 lost Net Balance
Aleix Espargaró 1 1 0
Álex Márquez 4 3 1
Álex Rins 0 6 -6
Brad Binder 8 0 8
Danilo Petrucci 1 1 0
Enea Bastianini 1 1 0
Fabio Quartararo 3 2 1
Francesco Bagnaia 5 2 3
Franco Morbidelli 0 4 -4
Iker Lecuona 5 0 5
Jack Miller 3 3 0
Joan Mir 2 2 0
Johann Zarco 2 2 0
Jorge Martín 1 0 1
Lorenzo Savadori 1 0 1
Luca Marini 4 0 4
Marc Márquez 1 1 0
Maverick Viñales 0 5 -5
Pol Espargaró 0 2 -2
Takaaki Nakagami 2 2 0
Valentino Rossi 1 1 0
It's gonna be a tough season with proven riders challenging for the top positions: between all the expected participants in the 2021 season, only Binder, Lecuona, Martín, Marini and Savadori never finished ahead of Oliveira in the standings at least one time. But on the other hand, Oliveira was able to get ahead most of them at least one time as well. Except, of course the four knights of his apocalypse, Rins, Maverick, Morbidelli and Pol. If you add to this quartet the two last champions, Marquez and Mir, plus Quartararo and Miller, you have the guys Oliveira has to consistently beat to get a top 5 finish in the final standings. The portuguese may have a slow and careful start to the season, but, if no crashes spoil his form, you can count him to get near the podium as the season progresses towards it's final.

2020.11.19 22:08 FlynnPatrick My Top 301 Players in the NBA Post-Draft (Rookies Included)

I recently finished ranking the top 500 players in the NBA of 2020. As we are now heading into next season with a whole batch of rookies, I have revised the list to include players just drafted last night.
Players announced as being out for the season already will not count (Jonathan Isaac i.e.). I am interested to see what you guys' think.
I also want to emphasize I took all feedback and criticism to make this list better. I hope you enjoy.
1 LeBron James
2 Giannis Antetkounmpo
3 Kevin Durant
4 Luka Doncic
5 Stephen Curry
6 Kawhi Leonard
7 James Harden
8 Anthony Davis
9 Damian Lillard
10 Nikola Jokic
The biggest news here is KD entering the ranking once again. He immediately makes Brooklyn title contenders and he will be hungry for a comeback trail once the NBA starts up again. Stephen Curry's ranking also puts him back in the top 5, and if fully healthy, he could be an MVP candidate.
11 Jimmy Butler
12 Devin Booker
13 Jayson Tatum
14 Bradley Beal
15 Karl Anthony Towns
16 Kyrie Irving
17 Joel Embiid
18 Brandon Ingram
19 Ben Simmons
20 Jamal Murray
After further review, Simmons jumps into my top 20. He can't shoot but he is elite in every other area of basketball and that counts for something. Jimmy Butler finished 3rd on my 2020 list, but moves down a bit as it will be more difficult for him to reach the heights achieved in 2020 next year.
21 Trae Young
22 Bam Adebayo
23 Paul George
24 Chris Paul
25 Donovan Mitchell
26 Kemba Walker
27 Rudy Gobert
28 Zach LaVine
29 Russell Westbrook
30 Pascal Siakam
Gobert was ranked too low on my original rating, and the defensive force moves into the top 30. Klay Thompson was also originally ranked 26th, but with the season ending news today he was taken off the list.
31 Khris Middleton
32 Kristaps Porzingis
33 D'Angelo Russell
34 Domantas Sabonis
35 Kyle Lowry
36 CJ McCollum
37 Jaylen Brown
38 DeMar DeRozan
39 DeAndre Ayton
40 LaMarcus Aldridge
Not too much change in this area from last year. Ayton moves from 44th to 39th as I think he can progress into a fringe all-star player in 2021.
41 Nikola Vucevic
42 Shai Gilgeous-Alexander
43 Tobias Harris
44 Kevin Love
45 Jrue Holiday
46 Ja Morant
47 Zion Williamson
48 De'Aaron Fox
49 John Collins
50 TJ Warren
SGA moves up 3 spots, Warren down from 41 to 50. SGA is now the centerpiece of OKC's franchise and they will have an interesting run in 2021.
51 Danilo Gallinari
52 Collin Sexton
53 Andre Drummond
54 Fred VanVleet
55 Evan Fournier
56 Blake Griffin
57 Kelly Oubre Jr
58 Caris LeVert
59 Buddy Hield
60 Jusuf Nurkic
I believe Drummond will have positive value for the Cavs in 2021. His game isn't best suited for today's era but he has talent regardless and with him/Kevin Love fully healthy they can form one of the most underrated front courts in the NBA to pair with Collin Sexton, who cracks the list at 52.
61 Montrezl Harrell
62 Jaren Jackson Jr
63 Bojan Bogdanovic
64 John Wall
65 Dennis Schroder
66 Spencer Dinwiddie
67 Malcolm Brogdon
68 Hassan Whiteside
69 Andrew Wiggins
70 Gordon Hayward
I expect Wall to be explosive and one of the most valuable point guards in the league upon return. All signs point to him being able to participate in the start of the season and it will be interesting to see how he blends in with a Wizards team that has struggled to find an identity.
71 Jonas Valanciunas
72 Al Horford
73 Lou Williams
74 Terry Rozier
75 Lonzo Ball
76 Bogdan Bogdanovic
77 Harrison Barnes
78 Devonte' Graham
79 LaMelo Ball
80 Victor Oladipo
Probably a hot take but I think prime Oladipo has passed. I understand he was injured but the report about him reaching out to other teams was a red flag and the energy of that is still around. LaMelo is the 1st rookie to crack the top 100. He is the unquestioned leader of the Hornets at just 19 years old. MJ believes he has something special and I do too.
81 Derrick Rose
82 Tyler Herro
83 Anthony Edwards
84 Ricky Rubio
85 Joe Harris
86 Clint Capela
87 DeJounte Murray
88 JJ Redick
89 Myles Turner
90 Aaron Gordon
Edwards fits well with Minnesota. He has the shooting form to do well, his efficiency will go up from college than compared to the NBA. Being the 3rd scoring option is less pressure than being constantly double teamed at Georgia. I moved Aaron Gordon back into the top 100, he was shining at times and the Jonathan Isaac injury means he should have more primary scoring opportunities.
91 Serge Ibaka
92 Duncan Robinson
93 Marcus Smart
94 Davis Bertans
95 Malik Beasley
96 James Wiseman
97 Tim Hardaway Jr
98 Steven Adams
99 Will Barton
100 Goran Dragic
Wiseman is the 3rd and last rookie to make the top 100. The Warriors' system fits him nicely and he will be relied upon more now that Klay Thompson is out for the year. Malik Beasley and Tim Hardaway Jr are two players who looked like studs sometime and it will be interesting to see what the Wolves do with this valuable piece in Malik after drafting a player at the same position 1st overall.
101 Jarrett Allen
102 Brook Lopez
103 Norman Powell
104 Mike Conley
105 Julius Randle
106 Carmelo Anthony
107 Eric Bledsoe
108 Marcus Morris
109 George Hill
110 Josh Richardson
Carmelo, Jarrett Allen (barely), Eric Bledsoe, Marcus Morris, and Norman Powell all fall outside of the top 100 they were in on my original list. I do like the Josh Richardson for Dallas and think he can work his way back up.
111 Joe Ingles
112 Jordan Clarkson
113 Paul Millsap
114 Brandon Clarke
115 Tristan Thompson
116 Seth Curry
117 Draymond Green
118 Lauri Markkanen
119 Terrence Ross
120 Jae Crowder
Now fully healthy and ready to go, Draymond moves back up the list. I still have him outside of the top 100 but with better pieces around Golden State next year he can progress his value.
121 Luke Kennard
122 Robert Covington
123 DeAndre Jordan
124 Dwight Howard
125 Patrick Beverley
126 Tyrese Haliburton
127 Jerami Grant
128 Dillon Brooks
129 Derrick White
130 Mitchell Robinson
Tyrese Haliburton was a steal for the Kings. They took the best player available, I could see him as a pretty nice 6th man as a rookie. Jordan, Howard, and Robinson are all centers who can help teams win games but are one-dimensional offensively and their upward mobility is limited from here (Robinson is still young though).
131 Nemanja Bjelica
132 Richaun Holmes
133 Larry Nance Jr
134 Alec Burks
135 PJ Washington
136 Rajon Rondo
137 Derrick Favors
138 Aron Baynes
139 Kentavious Caldwell-Pope
140 Josh Hart
Baynes is likely to not return to Phoenix, but he is a fascinating player to watch. Alec Burks had a very underrated year as he showed nice scoring ability and from what I've read the league probably values him less than I do but if you can get him on a discount contract he is a steal.
141 Patty Mills
142 OG Anunoby
143 Markelle Fultz
144 Christian Wood
145 Rudy Gay
146 Kendrick Nunn
147 Tomas Satoransky
148 Trevor Ariza
149 Coby White
150 Gary Harris
Harris has taken a freefall the last 2 years, and he went from a bonafide top 100 player to being well outside. If the Nuggets have to choose between Barton and Harris I take Barton. Christian Wood is a hot free agent name who I think is being overrated as he has a long way to go on defense but regardless he is fun as hell to watch on the offensive end. Markelle Fultz has worked his way up from bust to solid player and that is more than he could have hoped in 2020. Can he make himself a top 100 talent? The backcourt of him and Cole Anthony is interesting.
151 Cedi Osman
152 Danny Green
153 RJ Barrett
154 Bobby Portis
155 Rui Hachimura
156 Thomas Bryant
157 Thaddeus Young
158 Wendell Carter Jr
159 Deni Avidja
160 PJ Tucker
I had to contemplate for a while but I really like the Deni pick for DC. They needed a player with his skillset at the small forward position and I think he is in an ideal position to utilize his abilities.
161 Cody Zeller
162 Kyle Kuzma
163 Jeff Teague
164 Daniel Theis
165 Kevin Huerter
166 Dorian Finney-Smith
167 Doug McDermott
168 Michael Porter Jr
169 Eric Paschall
170 Mikal Bridges
MPJ can score, no question about it. His playmaking still has a long ways to go before being anything more than an x-factor though. I could see Mikal moving up significantly, his two-way potential is real and he's one of the most underrated defenders in the league.
171 Gary Trent Jr
172 Justin Holiday
173 Ivica Zubac
174 Marc Gasol
175 Deandre Hunter
176 Aaron Holiday
177 Miles Bridges
178 Furkan Korkmaz
179 Elfrid Payton
180 Monte Morris
181 Bryn Forbes
182 Mason Plumlee
183 Ben McLemore
184 Nerlens Noel
185 Rodney Hood
186 DJ Augustin
187 Maxi Kleber
188 Royce O'Neale
189 Terence Davis
190 Danuel House
191 Onyeka Okongwu
192 Eric Gordon
193 Enes Kanter
194 Kris Dunn
195 Shake Milton
After Nicolas Batum, Eric Gordon probably has the worst contract in the NBA currently. Okongwu is the 5th rookie to crack this list. He is a valuable commodity on the 2nd string Hawks behind Collins/Capela. He's in a low pressure situation to learn which I like.
196 Marvin Bagley
197 Dario Saric
198 Reggie Jackson
199 Otto Porter Jr
200 Jabari Parker
Is it too early to say that Bagley is a bust? Well even if he plays decent the question remains if he can ever match the talent of the player taken after him. There's more hope for this number 2 pick than Jabari Parker for example though.
201 Austin Rivers
202 Markieff Morris
203 Obi Toppin
204 Bruce Brown
205 Ish Smith
206 Jordan McLaughlin
207 Jalen Smith
208 Cameron Johnson
209 Jeremy Lamb
210 Luguentz Dort
I like the fit for Toppin and Smith. Toppin openly wanted to play for the Knicks and the man was college basketball's player of the year for a reason. Smith plugs a hole at the power forward position in Phoenix and this franchise is starting to build an attractive identity. Would not be surprised if Smith starts from day 1.
211 Glenn Robinson III
212 Isaac Okoro
213 Killian Hayes
214 Kelly Olynyk
215 Dwight Powell
216 Jalen Brunson
217 Avery Bradley
218 Langston Galloway
219 Kyle Krover
220 Svi Mykhailiuk
Okoro was an intriguing pick for Cleveland. His college coach Bruce Pearl raved about him and I think there will be a bit of a learning curve but a top 100 player finish in 2022-2023 would not surprise me.
221 Tony Snell
222 Mike Scott
223 James Johnson
224 Gorgui Dieng
225 Trey Lyles
226 Lonnie Walker IV
227 Troy Brown Jr
228 Devin Vassell
229 TJ McConnell
230 Delon Wright
I like Walker a lot. He just needs to put the pieces together and keep learning. Devin Vassell is an underrated offensive threat and those two could be starting plenty of games together in the near future.
231 E'Twaun Moore
232 Meyers Leonard
233 Omari Spellman
234 Willie Cauley Stein
235 Keldon Johnson
236 Matisse Thybulle
237 JaMychal Green
238 Jordan McRae
239 Bismack Biyombo
240 Jahlil Okafor
241 Damyean Dotson
242 Tyus Jones
243 Kevin Porter Jr
244 Taurean Prince
245 Trey Burke
246 Wesley Matthews
247 Cam Reddish
248 Malik Monk
249 Jarrett Culver
250 Dante Exum
A lot of players in this range who had crazy potential a few years ago but flamed out (Cauley-Stein, Exum, Monk). Talented enough to be in the league even 5 more years or so but will they ever reach any of the potential they once had? Monk is still only 22 and probably has the best chance. Maybe LaMelo will help him.
251 Alex Len
252 Maurice Harkless
253 Georges Niang
254 Emmanuel Mudiay
255 Damion Lee
256 Darius Garland
257 Damian Jones
258 Cory Joseph
259 Patrick Williams
260 JaVale McGee
The Patrick Williams pick reminded me of Marvin Williams in 2005. Both came off the bench, drafted on purely potential, did decent in the NBA. Could last 15 years even like Williams did, but all-star? He has a long way to go to be a huge focal point. 4 was too high for him, it was a bad pick. And I don't say that often.
261 Kevon Looney
262 Jaxson Hayes
263 De'Anthony Melton
264 Grayson Allen
265 Alex Caruso
266 Frank Kaminsky
267 Landry Shamet
268 Garrett Temple
269 Ersan Ilyasova
270 Harry Giles
271 Zach Collins
272 Justise Winslow
273 Jeff Green
274 Mohamed Bamba
275 Jakob Poeltl
276 Jake Layman
277 Brad Wanamaker
278 Tyrese Maxey
279 Vernon Carey Jr
280 Reggie Bullock
Vernon Carey Jr will have a learning curve but I think he landed in Charlotte in an excellent position to thrive and I think the Hornets won this draft. His conditioning can be improved but the talent is very clearly there, does he want it? If he does we are talking all-star potential.
281 Isaac Bonga
282 Nicolo Melli
283 Josh Okogie
284 Rondae Hollis Jefferson
285 Naz Reid
286 Garrison Matthews
287 Marco Belinelli
288 Tony Bradley
289 Ky Bowman
290 Robin Lopez
291 Derrick Jones Jr
292 Timothe Luwawu
293 Anfernee Simons
294 Wesley Iwundu
295 James Ennis
296 Moritz Wagner
297 Jaden McDaniels
298 Boban Marjanovic
299 Andre Iguodala
300 Hamidou Diallo
301 Cole Anthony
I think Anthony is going to be better than people think. Dude is a baller. But I don't think Orlando was the best situation for him. He's gonna be a starting talent and I think eventually the Magic will have to choose between him or Fultz. The flip side is that he doesn't have to carry the weight of the franchise on his back and will get a chance to progress smoothly.

That's it for today, let me know what you guys think in the comments. I understand my top 500 players list was very controversial and I listen to all of the feedback. Cheers!

2020.11.17 20:29 salsa_boi Favorite Pats RB of all Time

Who's your favorite Pats Running back of all time? Not necessarily the best, but who you enjoyed watching most. While we have never seemed to have all time great running backs, we have had a lot of really good ones.
Some of my favorites:
Because of how Belichick spreads the touches and how many chances there are for big playoff games/moments, the options are pretty much endless. Who's your favorite and why?

2020.11.17 17:41 Space_Girl_x Recommending and rating movies #day 8

i haven't been able to do this movie thingy in in a while, im sorry, also i changed the title to make it shorter :D
Today im recommending all the Jumanji movies for anyone who likes adventure\ comedy. There are 3 Jumanji movies, the first one looks quite old but its still a decent movie. (1995) It also has an amazing actor in it, Robin Williams.
The second movie is pretty cool. You don't really need to watch the first movie to know what's happening in the second.
When four students play with a magical video game, they are drawn to the jungle world of Jumanji, where they are trapped as their avatars. To return to the real world, they must finish the game. ~Google
I think its appropriate for 7 maybe 8+, the age rating is PG13. It also has good actors\actresses like Dwane Johnson,Kevin Hart, Karen Gillan, Black Jack and Nick Jonas*
*yunno the guy that sings iM a sUcKer fOr u on the radio all the damn time (well on my radio anyway)
the third movie continues from the second, obviously, so im just...not gonna spoil it lol
>be sure to watch the second movie before you watch the third<
i rate the first movie 6\10 the second 7 1\2)\10 and the third 7 3/4

2020.11.15 21:02 TheMindsGutter r/LiveFromNewYork's Best and Worst SNL Sketches!

Welcome to LiveFromNewYork's Best and Worst Sketches since 2015!

I was bored and decided to see what sketches this subreddit has enjoyed the most within the last 5 years since Sketch Sorting Sunday became a thing. The scores at the end of each title are the overall score on a scale of 0 to 10. The 10 is the highest rated sketch amongst the entire list. A 0 is the worst rating from a sketch. So don't think too much of the actual score since the #1 sketch was a pretty big outlier. I've decided to split the best and worst lists in multiple categories so that way I can give a spotlight to as many sketches as possible.
You might find some surprises or question why a spot on any of the lists seem out of place. Once again, this was done by Reddit votes, so take these with a grain of salt. Regardless, it was a lot of fun making this! I ended up getting data for 1,484 sketches! If you have any other lists you're interested in, let me know!

Actors with Disney Original Films Debuts
Disney Channel Original Movies are everyone’s favorite, and some of them are still on the priority list of movies after decades. Movies like High School Musical and Halloweentown play an essential role in American pop culture.
Disney also serves as a launching platform for the young and fresh actors who want to get into the industry and film business. Some of the biggest names in the industry right now started their career with Disney Channel Original Movie.
This article would list some famous and successful actors and their first break in Disney Channel Original Movie.
Nick Jonas
One of the Jonas Brothers appeared in the Disney Channel Original Movie titled ‘Camp Rock’ along with actors Demi Lovato, Meaghan Martin, Alyson Stoner, and Daniel Fathers. The movie was directed by Matthew Diamond and released in 2008.
Camp Rock was a hit, and shortly after the premiere, it was watched by 8.9 million viewers. The film is currently the third most-viewed Disney Original Movies after Wizards of Waverly Place: The Movie and High School Musical 2. However, among the three Jonas Brothers, Nick gained more popularity through the show and landed up more acting jobs in the industry. While Joe Jonas has worked with The Voice, and Kevin Jonas got a few voice roles.

After Camp Rock in 2008, Nick Jonas featured on the sequel Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam in 2010, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle in 2017, Midway in 2019, Careful What You Wish For in 2015, UglyDolls in 2019, and many more.
Kaley Cuoco
Kaley Cuoco started her career with Alley Cats Strike in 2000. Rod Daniel directed the movie. Cuoco is popular for her role as Penny in the famous situation comedy series The Big Bang Theory.
The movie starts with a tie basketball game between West Appleton and East Appleton. The two cities were competing for the trophy, The Mighty Apple, and since the game is a tie, the winner of the tournament would be decided through a ten-pin bowling competition. Cuoco was a player for West Appleton, and her team wins the match against East Appleton.
Between Alley Cats Strike and The Big Bang Theory, she has been featured in 8 Simple Rules. After that, her career graph has gradually grown up, and she appeared in The Wedding Ringer in 2015, Hop in 2011, Author Anonymous in 2014, The Penthouse in 2010, and many more.
Brenda Song
Brenda Song’s first acting gig was with Disney in the movie The Ultimate Christmas Present in 2010. The film is directed by Greg Beeman and written by Hallie Einhorn and Michael Hitchcock
The film is about two girls Samantha Elizabeth “Sam” Kwan (played by Brenda Song) and Allison Rachel “Allie” Thompson (played by Hallee Hirsh). These girls get a weather machine and use it to control the weather in Los Angeles. The machine is a secret machine that Santa designs to ensure that the world gets white snowy Christmas.
Brenda Song started her career as a child model. Before appearing in the Disney movie, she did a few TV series roles, including 100 Deeds for Eddie McDowd in 1999 and Fudge in 1995. In 2000 she received the Young Artist Award for her performance in the movie The Ultimate Christmas. After that, she appeared on many Disney shows; she played the role of London Tipton in the sit-com The Suite Life of Zack and Cody in 2005-2008 and also in the spin-off show The Suite Life on Deck in 2008-2011.
Kat Dennings
Kat Dennings is known for her characters in the situational comedy series 2 Broke Girls and movies, including Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist. However, she started her career with Disney Channel Original Movie, the Halloween outstanding The Scream Team.
Stuart Gillard directed the Scream Team, and Daniel Berendsen wrote the screenplay. The movie is about two children Claire and Ian, who move into the town where their grandfather had died. Ian gets some intuition that their grandfather’s spirit wants to connect with them.
Audiences can see many talented performers in the movie, including Tommy Davidson, Kathy Najimy, and Eric Idle. Dennings is currently working on the project Dollface with Brenda Song.
Disney has provided the performers with a great platform to start their careers. In the coming years, we hope the audience will see more emerging talents under the Walt Disney banner.

2020.11.11 17:10 cilantro_samosa [OC] What would rosters look like if you took the top 950+ players in WS/48 and put them on teams they grew up near?

If this seems familiar, I actually did a version with 700 players and minimum 15000 minutes played. I dropped the minutes requirement to 10000 to include players who spent most/all of their career in the ABA and players who burned bright but had injury troubles (Brandon Roy and Doug Collins).
If you're not a fan of reading a lot of text, here's the imgur link to rosters, although you should know I added 25 new teams! There is a TL;DR at the bottom!

Inspiration

Ever since LeBron went back to Cleveland, it's always fascinated me on what rosters would look like if everyone went home. I did this during the shutdown for the current rosters (all 514 players that played a game in 2019-2020 before the shutdown plus Jusuf Nurkic, who would have returned had the season continued normally)!

Player Pool and Team Pool

I used the top 957 players who have at least 10000 minutes played in their career.
Why 10000 minutes played? Because that's the lower standard set by Basketball-Reference to get on their ABA career leaderboard (15000 MP for NBA). I added George Mikan, because even though he hasn't played enough minutes, he's featured in All-Time ESPN NBARank and Bill Simmons Hall of Fame Pyramid.

I started off with the current 30 teams. To split up the Lakers and Clippers, I gave the Clippers their proposed Inglewood site.
As I looked at the map of player hometowns, I realized that there were:
  1. some areas that had a lot of players, but few close NBA teams.
  2. conversely, some areas that had bloated rosters with too many players
Based off city population and arena size, I added 25 new teams. I relaxed my arena restrictions (minimum capacity before was 10000).
New Teams:
Team Arena (Capacity) Notables
Anaheim Amigos Honda Center (18336) Kawhi Leonard, Reggie Miller, Bill Walton
Baltimore Bullets Royal Farms Arena (12289) Dominique Wilkins, Carmelo Anthony, Sam Cassell
Berkeley Bears Haas Pavilion (11858) Bill Russell, Damian Lillard, Paul Pierce
Birmingham Barons Legacy Arena (17654) Charles Barkley, Eric Bledsoe, Artis Gilmore
Capital City Go-Go Entertainment and Sports Arena (4200) Allen Iverson, Kevin Durant, Moses Malone
College Park Skyhawks Gateway Center Arena (3500) Dwight Howard, Josh Smith, Norm Nixon
Gary Steelheads Genesis Convention Center (6500) Shawn Kemp, Jack Sikma, Glenn Robinson
Indianapolis Jaguars Indiana Farmers Coliseum (6800) Jerry Lucas, Zach Randolph, John Paxson
Lansing Spartans Breslin Student Events Center (14759) Magic Johnson, Devin Booker, Draymond Green
Lexington Wildcats Rupp Arena (20545) Hal Greer, Neil Johnston, Dave Cowens
Long Island Knights Nassau Coliseum (14500) Julius Erving, Tobias Harris, Calvin Murphy
Louisville Colonels KFC Yum Center (22090) Larry Bird, Rajon Rondo, Wes Unseld
Newark Americans Prudential Center (18711) Kyrie Irving, Rick Barry, Shaquille O'Neal
North Little Rock RimRockers Simmons Bank Arena (18000) Scottie Pippen, Sidney Moncrief, Joe Johnson
Pittsburgh Ironmen PPG Paints Arena (19100) Pete Maravich, John Havlicek, Maurice Lucas
Queens Red Storm Carnesecca Arena (5602) Bob Cousy, Kemba Walker, Anthony Mason
Raleigh Cougars PNC Arena (19722) Michael Jordan, John Wall, Sam Jones
Rosemont Rush Allstate Arena (17500) Dan Issel, Shawn Marion, Bill Laimbeer
Seattle SuperSonics KeyArena (18600) John Stockton, Steve Nash, Detlef Schrempf
Shreveport Storm CenturyLink Center (13000) Karl Malone, Joe Dumars, Willis Reed
South Side Sky Wintrust Arena (10387) Dwyane Wade, Derrick Rose, Anthony Davis
Spirits of St. Louis Enterprise Center (22000) Bradley Beal, Andre Iguodala, Harry Gallatin
Westwood Bruins Pauley Pavilion (13800) Gilbert Arenas, Gail Goodrich, Jrue Holiday
Winston-Salem Demon Deacons Lawrence Joel Coliseum (14665) Jerry West, Chris Paul, Bob McAdoo
Wynnewood Hawks Hagan Arena (4200) Kobe Bryant, Wilt Chamberlain, Kyle Lowry

The Process

I created rotations to the best of my ability, but I am not proclaiming these as the be-all, end-all
Next phase was to add international players
And with that, here are the all-time hometown rosters including internationals in italics! (If you're more of a visual person, here's the imgur link where I also included regular season stats and career accolades)

2020.11.11 17:04 cilantro_samosa [OC] What would rosters look like if you took the top 950+ players in WS/48 and put them on teams they grew up near?
