Hi there, friends!
Have you ever seen a post or a comment stating someone's opinion that just makes you angry? Of course you have! This is after all a community about a manga/anime that is still being released, so people are free to make guesses about where the show is going and what they believe the fate of their (least-)favourite characters is going to be! And don't even get me started on ships....
But have you ever wanted to reply to such a thing with a well-rounded argument that can make the person see your perspective (a.k.a. THE TRUTH) and get you all those juicy upvotes?
Well then, look no further! This useful guide will show you tips and tricks to use when making an argument to completely leave your opponent baffled! Of course, I will give examples that all sides can use so it is unbiased!

1. Ad Hominem

Insult the person leaving the comment.
The first trick is very simple: Did they make a dumb statement? Have they ever said something stupid? Did they have a theory 30 chapters ago that now holds no ground, since the story developed so much since then? Is their username something stupid?
PERFECT - You can simply dismiss their statement by pointing out one of the things above

2. Strawman argument

Make your own proposition look much better, by creating the illusion that your opponent's view holds no ground, by stripping it from its nuances.
This is a very popular tactic and also very good to use in combination with an Ad Hominem to completely dilapidate someone. Just ignore 90% of the reasoning for a character's actions and focus on the negatives to put them in the worst light possible.

3. Appeal to Ignorance

Prove your position to be true, just because it has not been proven to be false yet.
An appeal to ignorance isn’t proof of anything except that you don’t know something. Therefore, you can prove ANYTHING with this, even if it can be somewhat contradictory. Just make sure that we really don't know this fact yet (last thing you want is someone who read the manga 53 times telling you it happened in Chapter 50, page 24, panel 3 and also in Chapter 107, page 27, panel 3)

4. False Dilemma/False Dichotomy

Create the illusion that there are only 2 possible outcomes, in which yours is clearly superior.
A story technically has an endless possibility of outcomes... Fuck that, let's create the illusion that there are only 2 options - a logical one (yours) and an illogical one.
If you want to get fancy, you don't need to limit yourself to a couple of options, but include a few more. Just make sure they are absolutely terrible (You can use Strawman arguments and Ad Hominem here)

5. Slippery Slope Argument

Assert that a relatively small first step results in a chain of events that gets out of control and culminates in something significant.
Now that might be a bit more difficult as there are not that many "little" things happening in the series. However, you can really try and force some of these arguments to make everyone neutral see the light and reasoning in your comment. However, as you can see below, historically these arguments could have been used very well:

6. Circular Arguments

Repeat what you have already assumed, providing no new conclusions, while re-asserting the point you initially made.
If A is true because B is true, then B is true because A is true. The trick is to make your point appear to look like an argument, while simply relying on an assumption that may or may not be true. It works really well if you have a sentence or two in between to make people confused and lose their trail of thought

7. Hasty Generalization

Make a hasty generalization without enough evidence to support it.
Generalizations are quite common and hard to spot in normal discussions. Hence, they are a great weapon when arguing with strangers online. Best part, no need to provide sources or back-up your claims (If you ARE asked to do it... use one of the above tricks, or keep reading). It can be very close and used indistinguishably with Strawman Arguments.

8. Red Herring

Distract the person by bringing in an argument that seems to be relevant but actually isn't.
Is the argument taking a bad turn and you want to lead the discussion in a safe space where you can comfortably debate your point? Well then this is the trick for you! It is also very difficult to detect, as side topics can be used in a relevant or irrelevant way.

9. "You too" (Tu quoque)

Point out the hypocrisy of your opponent's argument, hence improving your point.
This does not solve the problem or tell the truth (as even hypocrites can infer the truth sometimes), but it does make your opponent seem to have an egg on his face. It deflects criticism from you and redirects it to the other person. What's not to like? If the person is able to adequately answer the deflection, just keep using this, until he/she gives in.

10. Causal Fallacy/Questionable Cause

Assume a causal connection without having any proof for it
There can be many forms of causal fallacies... What matters is that you make the connections as wild as possible so your opponents cannot know where to even begin when disassembling the issues with your argument.

11. Sunk cost

Argue that since we have already put our self on a certain path, we might as well see it through.
Where my econ friends at? People are super susceptible to "sunk costs" in reality. When you have invested some time/money/resources into something you want to see it through... Well you can absolutely apply this with your arguments as well. Hey, if you have started something in this story, you might as well finish it, dad.

12. Appeal to authority

Cite irrelevant authorities/public figures that support your argument
No this has nothing to do with the mods. Simply cite something that proves your point that holds a position of authority. YouTube video? Random anime website article? The NEET from down the street who owns every tome of manga know to man? They all work! No matter if the argument is true or not! It even partially redirects the argument to someone completely different, so you can stand behind them as a guard.

13. Equivocation (ambiguity)

Use a particular word/expression in multiple senses within an argument
It can be used in a comedic way as well, but we are here to change people's minds, so we are going to use it in a deceptive way. Make sure that the words in your sentence are confusing the person by twisting the phrases in completely different ways, based on the side you are defending.

14. Appeal to pity

Exploit your opponent's feelings of pity and guilt
What better place to appeal to pity, than the most pitiful place on the internet - Reddit's comment section. It is somewhat related to the Ad Hominem arguments, as they are related to the person directly. Emotional manipulation is fun! So, make sure you use it by making your opponents feel bad for not being on your side of the argument.

15. Bandwagon

Assume something is true because a lot of other people believe it.
Nah, never mind. You cannot use this... BANDWAGONS NEVER HAPPEN ON REDDIT

Conclusion

There are many ways to win an argument, sometimes even by actually using logic. But when you cannot, just make sure you use one of the above 15 14 suggestions. Best thing is, you can use the above for other environments as well - Anime, Manga, Series, Family Debates, Interviews, Politics, and even with your significant other - Try it!

Earl Avery's statement from day 1 reminds me of another individual's statement.
In Jerry Buting's book "Illusion of Justice: Inside Making A Murderer & America's Broken System" he writes about another interesting case he was involved with. It is about the wrongful conviction of Ralph Armstrong.
Here's a little insight into the case:
The Crime On the afternoon of June 24, 1980, Charise Kamps, a 19-year-old student at the University of Wisconsin was found strangled to death in her Madison, Wisconsin, apartment. She was naked and face-down in her bed with a bathrobe belt draped across her back.
The Investigation Investigators collected clothing and other evidence from the victim’s apartment, including fingerprints and hairs.
The victim had drunk alcohol and used drugs with one of her best friends Jane May, Jane's boyfriend Ralph Armstrong, Ralph's brother Stephen Armstrong and others on the night she died. Ralph Armstrong told police that he had used cocaine with Kamps that night and that the two had been in her apartment alone for a short time around 9:15 p.m. before joining friends elsewhere. Police learned that Armstrong owed Kamps’s boyfriend $400, and witnesses said they saw him hand her cash on the night of the crime.
The Identification A neighbor of Kamps’ told police he was sitting on his porch that night and saw a lean, muscular man with long, dark hair drive up to the area in a black and white vehicle around 12:30 a.m. and park out of sight. The witness said the man ran into and out of Kamps’ building three times before finally disappearing to the area where his car may have been parked.
Before an identification procedure was conducted, police arranged for the witness to be hypnotized. A detective and the hypnotist viewed photographs of Armstrong and his car during the videotaped hypnosis session, but the detective testified that the witness did not see the photos. The witness later disagreed, saying he did see Armstrong’s photo in the hypnosis room. The witness allegedly described the perpetrator as having a long nose and bushy eyebrows, and said the perpetrator was 5 feet 3 inches to 5 feet 5 inches tall. He changed the height estimate to six feet at the prodding of the hypnotist. Armstrong, who had long, dark hair at the time, is six-feet, two-inches tall.
Ten days after the crime, police conducted a “pseudo re-enactment” lineup near the crime scene with Armstrong and four other participants who were police officers wearing wigs. At the advice of his attorney at the time, Armstrong passively resisted what his attorney felt was a rigged lineup, so he went limp during the lineup and had to be carried by two officers. The witness identified Armstrong as the perpetrator, but also pointed out to police that the other participants were clearly wearing wigs. He would later confirm that he said at the time the lineup was “fixed.”
Buting writes in his book:
Stephen Armstrong acknowledged that things looked bad for his brother, but
he told the Capital Times that he was sure that Ralph Armstrong was innocent.
“Whoever did that to Charise has to be a lunatic,” he maintained. “Ralph’s not a
lunatic. He’s a brilliant guy who likes to party, get high, and have fun, just like a
lot of people do. And sure—sometimes he gets a little rowdy,” Stephen added,
pointing to a hole Ralph had once punched in a closet door. “He’s got a bad, bad
temper. So do I. But the thing is, he’s not a murderer. With a prior conviction and
being on parole, though, he’s guilty until proved innocent. Meanwhile, whoever
did it is still running around loose. That’s what (bothers me).”
Stephen's comments to the media were totally contradictory and really had me wondering why he would talk about his brother in a negative light at all. I really had no interest in Avery's case because I saw it play out in Making a Murderer. It was the case of Ralph Armstrong that really held my attention. Buting's telling of his involvement made me very eager to finish Buting's book. I wanted to know who really murdered Charise Kamps. My gut was telling me it was Stephen Armstrong.
Here is how it played out:
The Trial and Physical Evidence Armstrong was arrested and charged with raping and killing Kamps. He was tried before a jury in 1981. The state’s case rested on forensic evidence, eyewitness identification testimony and an alleged motive involving the money Armstrong owed Kamps’ boyfriend.
A forensic analyst testified that several head hairs collected from the bathrobe belt draped across the victim’s body and the bathroom sink were “consistent” or “similar” to Armstrong’s hair. She also identified several pubic and head hairs that she said came from neither Kamps nor Armstrong. In closing arguments, however, the prosecutor exaggerated the importance of her findings, saying “two of the defendant’s hairs were on this robe.”
Similarly, a forensic analyst found a positive reading for the presence of chemicals in human blood on several of Armstrong’s fingers and toes, but she wasn’t able to determine any characteristics of the blood. The prosecutor exaggerated this finding as well in his closing argument, saying “that was Charise Kamps’ blood.”
Armstrong’s fingerprints were also found on a bong in Kamps’ apartment, but the defense argued that Armstrong had moved the bong when he was in the apartment earlier on the night of the murder.
The forensic analyst testified that semen was detected on the bathrobe, and that it came from a Type-A secretor (a person whose blood type is found from bodily fluids like semen). Armstrong is a Type-A secretor.
The eyewitness who been hypnotized identified Armstrong in court as the man he saw run in and out of the victim’s apartment building for ten minutes around 12:30 a.m. on the night of the crime.
Prosecutors also sought to show that Armstrong’s claimed whereabouts on the night of the murder were unrealistic. They said he could not have been at the victim’s house at 9:30 p.m. because the route he said he drove allegedly could not have allowed for a stop at the victim’s apartment. Instead, they argued that he came to her apartment after midnight, saying that was when he left the fingerprints and murdered the victim.
The state argued that Armstrong had allegedly paid the victim $400 in cash toward a loan her boyfriend had given Armstrong on the night in question. The cash was not discovered in the apartment the next day, and Armstrong deposited $315 into his bank account the next day.
Armstrong’s defense attorneys challenged the prosecution’s case on many fronts — from the timeline of the night to the eyewitness identification and the forensic evidence. Defense attorneys called an expert in hypnosis and questioned the validity of the eyewitness identification, presented evidence that the hair and blood evidence were being used improperly and offered a timeline of the night’s events according to Armstrong. The defense argued that Armstrong had received $315 from his brother on the day after the crime.
Despite these efforts, Armstrong was convicted and sentenced to life in prison plus 16 years.
Post-Conviction Appeals Armstrong filed several unsuccessful appeals in the years after his conviction. In 1991, he sought a new trial based on DNA test results showing that he could not have been the source of the semen on the bathrobe belt. His appeals were denied, however, with a state appeals court calling the semen evidence “an insignificant piece of circumstantial evidence linking Armstrong to Kamps and to her apartment.”
The Innocence Project became involved in Armstrong’s case in 1993, working with Wisconsin attorneys Jerome Buting and Keith Belzer. More advanced DNA testing was conducted in 2001, excluding Armstrong and the victim’s boyfriend as the source of the head hairs on the bathrobe belt, and finding that the semen stain used against Armstrong at trial was connected to the victim’s boyfriend. Based on these results, the Wisconsin Supreme Court overturned his conviction in 2005, granting him a new trial.
While a new trial was pending, a woman testified at a hearing that she had called Dane County Assistant District Attorney John Norsetter in 1995 to report that Armstrong’s brother, Steve, confessed that he, not Ralph, was guilty of the crime, and that he feared Ralph would be exonerated by DNA and come after him if he found out Steve was the real guilty party. The woman said she described Steve’s gruesomely detailed confession to Norsetter, who did not report this evidence to defense attorneys and did not pursue the lead. Steve Armstrong had disappeared shortly after the crime and never again contacted his brother Ralph. Steve died in 2005.
In 2006, more forensic testing was done on the crime scene evidence — including mitochondrial (mtDNA) tests, an advanced technique that can develop DNA profiles from degraded samples and hair follicles. Mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) tests of hairs from the crime scene excluded Ralph Armstrong. Because mtDNA is inherited from one’s mother, Ralph and Steve Armstrong would be expected to have the same mtDNA profile.
Six forcibly removed pubic hairs, found on the bedspread on which the victim’s body lay, were tested for mitochondrial DNA. Those tests proved they did not come from Ralph Armstrong , the victim or her boyfriend. Another semen stain was found, this time on the bathrobe belt found draped across the victim’s body. Further DNA tests of the semen stain from the robe belt excluded Ralph Armstrong again, as well as the victim’s boyfriend. Despite those exculpatory results, the state announced it would retry Armstrong for the crimes. Then, despite a court order requiring prosecutors to notify defense attorneys any time evidence in the case was moved or analyzed, Norsetter secretly ordered additional DNA tests. These illegal tests used up the biological evidence, preventing any further testing. Moreover, the Y-STR DNA testing Norsetter ordered in 2006 focuses on the Y chromosome and would not have distinguished genetic material between males with the same father.
The defense did not learn about the woman’s 1995 call to Norsetter until 2007. At that point, the defense argued that Norsetter’s decision to order Y-DNA tests may have indicated that he was trying to get a conviction against Ralph even if his brother’s indistinguishable Y-DNA was found. At a subsequent court hearing Norsetter admitted under oath that he did get a call in 1995 from a woman claiming to have heard a confession in a big case, and that it could have been about Ralph Armstrong, but his memory was vague. He admitted he never told the defense or any court because, in his opinion, the information wasn’t credible enough to do so.
Based on the destruction of evidence and the prosecutor’s suppression of potentially exculpatory evidence for more than a decade, there was proof that Armstrong’s due process rights had been irreparably compromised. A state circuit court judge dismissed the case against Armstrong in July 2009, saying it was clear that the prosecutor in the case had acted “in bad faith.” Prosecutors announced in August 2009 they wouldn’t appeal the dismissal, and Armstrong was officially cleared. As of October 2009, Armstrong was incarcerated in New Mexico on a parole violation.
In the end my gut feeling was correct. Stephen Armstrong raped and murdered Charise Kamps. I have the same gut feeling with Earl Avery. When Earl says "Even if my brother did something, I would tell." it really has the hairs on my neck standing up. The hair raising statements from Earl don't cease here either. Almost a week later he interrupts investigations during an investigation and confesses on his way up to the cabin to visit his father he called his wife because it hit him that "He believes STEVEN AVERY has killed TERESA HALBACH."

  4. Edie Britt - I could say the other main girls (Susan, Lynette, and Gabby, because I love them ALL), but I'm trying to exclude them for this list. Edie, though - great character. The only reason he did so to begin with was "Lebensraum" aka needing more space for his people...but why? Germany already was really fucking big, and the population per square mile isn't Bangladesh either. Not to mention that he even said he wouldn't start another war before he was elected.
So, what if he never started ww2 and just did all his stuff inside Germany? The only difference between this timeline and ours is that he never cared about enlarging the 3rd Reich.
While I don't believe this to be the necessarily best possible ww2 timeline, it's in the upper half if you'd ask me. Especially when considering the death toll.
-where do I get my ideas
From "mein kampf" where hitler wrote down very detailed what he will do with his germany after ww2 was won. Pretty much just skipping to the point after the war is over.
-Isolation
This Germany will most probably be very Juche (aka self sustaining) and isolationist. So they wouldn't trade much with other countries, nor let anyone get in (and probably also out). A perfect modern example is North Korea which is all these things.
-Holocaust
There would still be a genocide of jews in this Germany, but not as large as in our timeline. Most Jews killed were from Poland and Russia and most german Jews left in the 30s to either the US or with the Haavara Agreement to modern israel. I'd expect around max. 200.000 jews to die in total in this genocide (a third of all german jews)
-Authoritarianism
The country would be one of the most authoritarian countries in history. Pretty much every aspect of an average german citizens life is determined by the nazi-party. Even the name at birth. There would still be economic hierachies, like CEO's and companies but those would be determined and controlled also by the state. Whatever you're forced to work at must help the state in one way or another. Works such as artist or entertainer won't be allowed because they have no materialistic purpose for the state. Things that also go against very traditional german culture are also banned, like russian vodka or french wine, or american movies / technology.
-Economy
The economy is centered around the party, like evetything else is. They decide the prizes of products, decide their quantity and quality and decide where they will be sold. "Profits" pretty much no longer exist, because everything above necessary will be taxed to the nazi party. You also can't start your own business or enterprise, or do anything really that profits you over the state. Agriculture and food in general will of course also be run by the state, which decides how to run the farms and so on. Private companies and properties still exist, but only for the actual party members, and the party members ARE the government. So basically private ownership of things don't really exist. Consumerism doesn't exist at all.
More things that will be in this germany: universal income, universal healthcare, universal housing, etc.
Those things may sound very socialistic to you, and that's true. There's a meaning for the red in the nazi flag and the "Socialist" in "National Socialist". Hitler had very economically left wing ideas for his "utopia". The biggest differences between his Socialism and your average socialism is that he wants this socialism but just for one race, and he is against worker unions or the abolishment of hierachies. He is culturally very much as far right as you can go. Which I'll get to now.
-Culture
The closest modern example to his cultural ideas is Saudi Arabia. Women have no rights outside of giving birth. Abortion is illegal, so are all drugs besides alcohol (beer) and maybe cigarettes. All people are forced to live on the standard that hitler provided, so must also all laws be centered. It's like the Sharia Law but with Mein Kamps instead of the Quran. If some non-germans still live in this country, they'd be heavily segregated and discriminated upon, especially from the party. Only men would be allowed to work and schools would be very militaristic and filled with propaganda. Being in the military for a few years would be mandatory and "disrespecting" german culture will lead to death. More things on how the party makes laws based on culture: No language allowed outside of German. No sex before marriage. Only select hairstyles are allowed. No religion, no religious symbols. No communication with Frenchman/jews/slavs. No homosexuality. No disrespect towards german culture or the party. No respect for foreign cultures.
Germany would be very much a police state, run by böömers who hate everything new.
-foreign afairs
Germany would be very isolationist and try to be self sustaining. They would put most of their military ressources towards securing all borders. In this timeline, France didn't build the Maginot line, Germany did. Just like they build fortifications and strict borders around all neighboring countries, with the possible exception of austria, depending on wether they're communist or not.
Further on, France would be extremely antagonistic and hateful towards this germany for breaking the treaty of versailles by never paying up their debts and would maybe start fighting in small-scale proxy wars around the world, they couldn't invade Germany because of how heavily fortified they are and how large their military is. Furthermore france in our timeline didn't invade germany either, despite germany invading eastern europe. Trade in general in Europe would be working much slower, considering right in the center is a giant territory with a sign saying "don't enter!" The country that economically suffers the most by this is probably Denmark, considering germany is their only neighbor.
-Eastern Europe
Eastern Europe would have a much better timeline as in our. They aren't invaded and raided by the germans first, then invaded and raided by the russian second, who also kept them locked under the iron curtain. USSR under Stalin was also very Isolationist and he never had intention of taking over all of eastern europe, until germany took it over and then invaded russia. What this means is that these nations would stay independent and would've much better economies than in our timeline. Furthermore I doubt yugoslavia would become a socialist dictatorship under Tito, because Tito only came to be dictator after Germany brought so much chaos to the balkans...ok that's a bit much, i mean EVEN MORE chaos to the Balkans. Most of these countries would probably become capitalist or light-socialist and end up in modern times being as economically well off as other countries like Spain or France. There wouldn't be a large divide between Eastern and Western europe as in our timeline.
-Russia
Russia wouldn't lose 24 million people in the war. The country wouldn't be so empty with such a low population density as in our timeline. Albeit millions would still die nonetheless in the Gulags. Considering they didn't took over so much land and made it communist, I doubt the cold war would've happened, because the ussr and america wouldn't be left as the only superpowers in the world, so they don't directly compete against each other. USSR will probably collapse due to a terrible economy and many violent uprisings in the 90s, just like in our timeline. Either that or being forced into being more capitalist, just like China it did. Either way, they're probably just as "meh" off in the present as in our timeline. Albeit I doubt they will have as much influence over Eastern Europe as in our timeline, because Eastern Europe in this timeline is much better off and they weren't controlled by russia for 50 years beforehand. Russias relationships with Ukraine and Belarus and others would be beneficial towards both, instead of trying to oppress the smaller nations. Russia wouldn't invade Crimea in this timeline. Ukraine would today have a population of around 70 million and russia of around 200 million give or take.
-USA
Because there never was a cold war, America would be much less inclined of being anti-communist. Meaning more left wing ideas are accepted into the US. I can't really tell how much, but the overall mentality stops being against communists above all else. They would also not be more of a superpower than other big countries around the world, because only after ww2 they became as influential in the world as we see it today. Americas economy was heavily boosted by buffing up their military for ww2 and by getting a ton of money from the UK for the US to ship them ressources during ww2. So the recovery from the Great Depression would be much slower and the economy overall wouldn't be as huge as today, albeit I doubt that it won't be the largest in the world anyways in 2020.
-East Asia
Pretty much no difference. Japan still inrapes China and all of Asia. The US still kicks their ass and china becomes communist and the vietnam war still happens, but without american support.
-Western Europe
France and the UK wouldn't really change much, because the western front wasn't really all that big to begin with or had too large consequences in their growth. The british empire still collapses, frenchman don't have to deal with surrender jokes on the internet, and both still hate the germans. The biggest difference really is that the EU doesn't exist and that the economy is much slower, because, again, there's a massive territory that you can't cross. One thing that's different is complete anti-germanism in their cultures. Seeing them as inferior in every way. This goes over to politics, whereas germany is culturally far right, french nationalists are culturally far left, to go against germany.
-last but not least: Germany
Germany has 2 options:
1) they're a 3rd world militant nation very much identical with modern north korea, but with a culture-gimmick. After Hitlers death, the party overall would've taken his spot instead of a clear and cut dictator, just like in Cuba once Fidel Castro died. There would be a universal fanatism with Hitler, like there was one with Mao in China, and people would live in high poverty with barely any electricity or food.
Why do I think so? Because this is what always happens when the government plans every aspect of the economy. A government is run by humans. Humans make mistakes. A single mistake on such a large front means the death of the economy. Same happened to north korea, which actually did more well than south korea in its first decade, but gradually declined over time because of mistakes made by the party. It's ridiculous to believe that the Nazi party and Hitler would never undeoverrestimate some aspects of the economy and crash their economies. Especially considering the isolationism, if their crops fail, they won't have some backup crops imported by another country. This also leads to a big shortage of such things as oil and electricity and most things that you get outside of your country. Most of the world would today look at Germany as very backwards totalitarian dictatorship and will hear the stories of the few that managed to escape, talking about executions and the mass-propaganda inside. Only countries that are very hateful against them and threaten war with each other (that will never happen) are the neighbors. If this isn't the description of North Korea, i don't know what is. I keep mentioning NK because they're just so similar to this idea of Germany: A police state, worshipping of the government, mass propaganda, one ethnicity only (albeit this is only a coincidence, since NK isn't necessarily racist), no one is allowed to leave or enter. NK also has many restrictions to things like watching pornography or being gay. That's the biggest difference though, germany is NK but with additional Saudi-Arabian laws.
2) they collapse (which is much more likely) and become just another capitalist country. Albeit this one being just as much underdeveloped as is Eastern Europe is today. So basically marking a big red spot in the middle of an all green spot, when looking at any economic-related map of Europe. Even if this is the case, Hitler would probably still be revered and praised by Germans today just like Stalin is in Russia or Mao in China. The nazi party doesn't even need to die for this to happen, they just have to make themselves capitalist and globalist, like China did. But without the benefits that china has like an easy access to the sea or 1.2 billion people.
-conclusions
In this timeline, the only one's who really suffer are the germans and the german state, thanks to a terrible economy. They only managed to survive for 13 years to begin with in our timeline because their economy was based around raiding and pillaging all other European countries. But that is neither long term sustainable, nor militarily possible without making the whole world your enemy that tries to invade your country (like our timeline germany).
Germany will become a very backwards country and mostly overlooked on the map. Most citizens probably know the propaganda they're fed is just propaganda, but there's not much they can do about it, and they probably have no understanding at all about the outside world. The only industrialized city is Berlin, and only for propaganda purposes to show the world how great they're doing. Most people live in poor villages with fearing that anyone around them might be a spy for the party, that can arrest them and get them sent to a camp if they complain about how their current life is. Thanks to Nukes by their neighbors, they can never try to take more land, nor does the party allow a more modern life. So the life of s german in this world is very much like in a prison.
Furthermore, Nazism as a whole isn't looked down upon in their timeline as much as it is in our, because they didn't lead to 70 million deaths. But it is very much seen as a failed ideology. Anti-semitism stays present in many places around the world too, because no one tried to kill all of them. Anti-Fascism as a movement probably doesn't exist and being openly racist and anti antisemitic in 2020 is probably still not looked down upon. Mentalities around genetic-superiority are still very much common.
You can see why I don't see this world as the best possible timeline. Nazism as a whole was never defeated, and Russia still had to suffer through the cruel hands of the Red Party. Eastern Europe also probably would still be not perfect, considering they're probably not going to follow exactly in the footsteps of the US, like western europe did. There are possibly even chances that the civil rights movement in the US in the 60s failed and that there would still be segregation, which is awful in my eyes.
But yeah, here is my idea for a theoretic peaceful germany that suprisingly never really is talked about, between alternate historians.

2020.04.26 01:16 Kampfer_Wolf What the Games are like for a Hunter

I'm going to preface this by saying I do not play Titan or Warlock. The only things I know about them for the Guardian Games is basically from what I've seen and heard from Reddit and YouTube. I want to explain what this has been like so far as a Hunter.
So knowing off the bat that we are at a disadvantage in terms of medal "worth" kinda stinks. I know there's more Hunters and they are trying to even things out, but as you'll realize soon, this put us in a poor place.

See, there are at least two different quests for us that cause us problems, and if you're a Hunter, you'll probably get mad just hearing about it.
The first quest is one called "Chain Reaction", and it's rather ironic if you think about it. We have to use Mobius Quiver to tether 5 or more enemies and kill them all at the same time. Seem's easy enough, till you realize a single shot only tethers 4 enemies. So you now have to fire a second shot, mind you, hoping there is enough enemies to do this, to tether another set of enemies, but have at least one enemy from the first group tethered twice, so it bounces to the new set. If you have too big of a group, then the likely hood of this happening is rather low. So now the better option is to look for smaller groups, and hoping no one else is trying to get multi-kills like you, which means you're also competing with Titans doing their shoulder charge whatever. Oh yeah, and this is assuming everything is actually NOT glitching for you. It's well documented and acknowledged by Bungie that something isn't working right with this, so even if all those conditions are met, there's a chance it wont work. There's a lot of people who cant ever get this quest done everyday.
The second quest is related to our disorienting bomb (sorry I can't remember the quest name at the moment, Hunters know which one I'm talking about) Basically you have to kill 10 enemies with a certain melee bomb that disorients enemies, specifically by melee-ing them while disoriented. This bomb is finicky even without this quest. Sometimes the bomb just vanishes. Sometimes it disorients them but doesn't ACTUALLY give them the marker for it so it wont count. Sometimes it lasts like 1/8th of a second and you can't get the melee off in time. This is while having a massive cool down on this bomb, and basically the absolute best situation is getting two counted per bomb. Did I mention this quest is ALSO bugged and just doesn't count? So sometimes it wont track, even with conditions met, just because, just like the first quest.

Now Kamp you say, those are quests, not laurels needed for the actual medals. Correct, but remember me saying the Chain Reaction quest is sort of ironic? We now have a major disadvantage with the worth of our medals, that's right off the bat. We compete getting credit for those with Titans and Locks, Titans having the easiest time finishing medals. You hear talk about Titans cheating. You see Bungie acknowledging bugs with our quests but nothing has been fixed as Titans dominate the flags. You're class specifically only can catch up if EVERY registered Hunter plays, relying on random people who may not be able to play right now, are playing other games, or even already gave up on this whole thing because of the previous reasons.
Titans have always had it easy, and it seems to be the case once again. Hunters get shafted, and Locks have the middle ground as always. These Games have only gone to prove that we were right to think this way, and it's incredibly disheartening.
So this is what it's like playing as a Hunter right now. If you have insight on what it's like playing either other class and how difficult or easy things are for them, I'd love to hear it. Cause as it stands, from a Hunter perspective, and trying to take into account how others might be playing right now, it seems like we got completely shafted and the only way things can be "fair" is to have the glitches fixed and the Medal "worth" re-considered, and possibly even a reset on the flags.

Edit: Solved now: Valsen - Klovner i Kamp*. The reason noone found the answer is because while in my mind the song was English considering the amount of English songs I listen to, the song was actually Norwegian.*
Was just listening to Spotify artist/song radios at work all day everyday these past two months and I was actually listening to some Norwegian artists I liked a while back (not the same genre, but if you listen to a Norwegian track on Spotify it usually picks Norwegian bands) and it finally gave me the song.
I've been stuck on finding a song from my Spotify Discover weekly or song/artist/album Radio list for quite a while now (2-3 months). It's driving me mad! Don't like how they're just gone like that if you don't like them.

Things I know about it:
Most likely an artist collab between 2 or more, it contains little or no swear-words but sex is heavily implied (possibly talk about bringing or having a girl in a hotel room, might be some dirty talk), lots of "vocal flairs" (fast breathing etc) like in Rocketman above and/or bed-squeak effects etc.
The rap isn't too fast and not too chill, kind of in-between. You do easily understand what they're trying to say.

I sadly don't know much but I have some songs that remind me of it in order of relevance:

I fell in love with Momoland in 2016, before their debut during the Finding Momoland era. The first member that caught my eye was Nancy — her charisma was indescribable and her expressions were always on point.
So, I did more research and found out that she used to be a child actor, and was part of the dance group ‘Cutie Pies’. After watching all of the Finding Momoland episodes, I had grown attached to all of the trainees, but I knew some had to go.
I was screeching at my screen with disappointment as the judges announced the eliminated trainees, each and every second becoming nerve wracking. Heejae, Shinsia, Daisy and Jane were eliminated, but Jane was saved because of viewer votes.
I was elated, but nevertheless, sad. They were all my favourites and I knew I couldn’t choose one bias. When they were live streaming before their debut, I cheered from behind my screen as a proud Merry-Go-Round, with a normal white coloured lightstick.
I cheered for their debut, their first win and cried tears of joy along with them everytime they won. Everytime they won, I felt a sense of pride in my heart for them. In 2018, when Hallyu Pop Fest came, I sadly missed the chance to see them for the first time. So, once more, I watched from behind a screen.
It made me happy to see them happy, and my thoughts were to always stay positive no matter what. Just a month before Hallyu Pop Fest, my mum passed away due to an accident/suicide. At that moment, I felt like I had lost all my hope and considered a lot of things like ending everything. But I didn’t.
Why?
It was because of Momoland. Their hopes and their goals, including my dreams kept me going even after that incident. They braved through many things, like near disbandment, sajaegi accusations and accusations of copying Serebro, including many hate comments.
Nancy and Daisy has talked about liking to read nice comments, which meant that they have definitely seen all of the negative ones, which broke my heart.
Right after 2018, everything turned into a disaster.
Taeha and Daisy was excluded from group activities until the next Korean comeback, and Yeonwoo had to go on a short hiatus due to anxiety.
Momoland, once again, just like the ‘Great!’ and ‘Fun To The World’ era, promoted the title track ‘I’m So Hot’ for more than a month or two. They are still performing it up to this day.
Then, due to a mistake, I accidentally spelt ‘camp’ as ‘kamp’, finding the details of KAMP Singapore 2019. When I saw Momoland in the line of artists, I decided to prepare to become bankrupt and screeched when I purchased the tickets.
And two months later, the day came.
November 10, 2019. The day that I officially met Momoland.
Before the red carpet, there was an auction for two signed Momoland sweaters. The first price that I bid was 100, but another person screamed out 150. It escalated, from me screaming 350 to the other fan screaming 390.
On impulse, I screamed and bid 400 as the final price. No one screamed another price and I had my hopes up high, and I won the sweaters 🥰
(though now my bank acc is empty lol)
I queued a whole 1h 30min for better access to the front during the red carpet, smiling like an idiot as I did so. When Momoland’s van arrived, I prepared my vocal chords for immense torture by screaming out all of the members’ names.
Nancy noticed me first when I made eye contact with her. She smiled and waved at me as she walked onto the stage. When they got up on the stage, that was when everything went crazy.
I started out by screaming Nancy’s name, followed by Hyebin’s and then JooE’s. I screamed Jane, Nayun and Ahin but it seemed like they didn’t hear me, so I screamed louder for Hyebin.
She looked at me with a bright smile and waved to me as I screamed her name for the second time, making my voice crack. She seemed to have covered her mouth in an attempt to not giggle and flashed me some finger hearts, same to JooE. (so cute tho)
Then the host told the winner of the auction (me!) to wave my hand so as to let Momoland, including the KAMP staff, identify me.
JooE spotted me first, looking at me with surprise before smiling widely at me. Ahin noticed me with her mouth wide open, with Jane and Nayun being chill (why can’t I be as chill as them omg).
Nancy was still looking around for me when JooE alerted her and pointed to me. I was waving a banner of her, which made her smile widely at me too. She waved at me, said hi and called me a cutie(which I died at ><). How is she so cute?
After that, there was a signed ball throwing session. I managed to catch one from Nancy since the threw it to me (and it somehow didn’t hit my face)! On the way back to the van, she held my hand just for a while and left, flashing a short smile at me before doing so.
By the end of the red carpet, my throat had almost killed itself. Though, you should know what happened during the concert 😅.
They’re great people and they’re the best in my eyes. Just to note, they announced a comeback in December (: Let’s get it, Merries!
